Alex is a NetBSD developer with a history of committing to both userspace and to the kernel as well as maintaining several packages in pkgsrc packaging system.

By day, Alex is a UK based contractor specialising in low level C/C++ and assembler optimisations in high frequency trading. He recently started looking at FPGA to discover new ways to optimise speed. His company is called XMM SWAP LTD.
