Leslie has worked as Program Manager for Google Summer of Code, Community Manager for OSU’s Open Source Lab, Community Engineering Team Manager at Red Hat and most recently Director of Developer Relations at Elastic.

Whilst not doing things community on the job, Leslie is in the “save the world business” and works on side projects that make the world a better place. She has served as a Board Member for CASH Music and the Sahana Software Foundation and is currently on the Board of Directors of the Open Source Initiative and the Privly Foundation.

Leslie has lived in Amsterdam, The Netherlands since late 2013. She harkens back to her days at U.C. Berkeley now and again by indulging in an evening’s read of Medieval English Literature (but you can keep your Geoffrey Chaucer; William Langland FTW!).
