Walter Heck is a location independent entrepreneur from the Netherlands. Walter is running several projects for his company OlinData. He has over a decade professional IT experience and loves open source. Walter is not your average IT-guy: he has been living on the road since 2007, running OlinData since 2008. He's lived in 4 continents and traveled to over 30 countries while running his company from the road.
Walter's latest OlinData project is Tribily.com, server monitoring as a service. It's a project that is fully geared towards making money using and contributing to Open Source Software: the software runs on a combination of Drupal and Zabbix, and every line of code is contributed back to the community.
When he's not working, Walter's out exploring the world, diving, hitchhiking, couchsurfing, or whatever has his interest.
