Robert Douglass is the creator of Spec Kitty, an MIT-licensed, spec-driven development framework for AI coding agents that turns requirements into governed work packages (spec, plan, tasks, review, merge) with a Kanban dashboard, isolated git worktrees, and support for all popular agent harnesses. He has spent two decades in open source. An early Drupal contributor with more than 50 modules to his name, he wrote one of the first books about Drupal, helped found the Drupal Association, and was among Acquia's first employees before leading product at Commerce Guys and serving as Chief DevRel Officer at Platform.sh. He is a former FrOSCon speaker, having presented on Drupal at the conference in 2006 and 2007, and running its Drupal developer room in 2008 and 2009.
