Erste Mal mit OSS in Kontakt gekomme

My history with OSS started in 2014 with some bug fixes to Symfony2 packages and Wordpress plugins. Nothing special. Once I found out more about GitHub and its community I've started to contribute more, especially to eZPublish (legacy) and Magento (legacy) projects. Right now I'm more active than I used to be before. I also started to contribute to projects I use in daily bases, like PHPMD.

Contributer in OSS-Projekt

I've started to be really active in PHP Mess Detector project recently. Why? Probably because I use it in daily bases. Probably because I've got some ideas on how to improve it. But mostly because I know, that my work reflects directly in a code quality of other developers, regardless of their experience, position or type of project they work on.
