Improving cooperation in volunteer projects
Workflow, communication, tools -- and how to get people to adopt them
This talk will introduce a study aimed to improve the efficieny of cooperation in large globally-spaced volunteer projects, such as Debian. We briefly look at common topics, such as developer motivation, and analyse how improvements to the cooperation between developers succeeded and failed in the past. I would also like to open the talk for discussion to get feedback from the audience.
